Tyler and I have received Facebook messages, phone calls, Instagram posts, and text messages from friends and family this week telling us they are praying for baby Nora. One friend sets an alarm during the day, it reminds him to pray for Nora. The members of the Catholic church in town are due to pray with special intention for Nora. When Aunt Jinx turns on her car headlights on her way to work, it reminds her to pray for Nora. VaVa’s church elders gifted us with a shawl showered in loving prayer. Our church prays every Sunday for healing for baby Nora. Dora Lou’s prayer warriors pray from Canada, Ohio and Kansas. Rachel prays in Brazil. Friends, and friends of friends, across the country and globe continue to pray daily for baby Nora. It brings us hope and comfort to picture the ways you pray.
This morning I received a text and photos from Tia:
“I haven’t shown you my project. I hang a piece of material each day as a prayer up to every angel- there-ever-was for Nora’s health.”
I bet if we had a scrap of material for every prayer said for our sweet girl we could fill a thousand fences.Thank you dear friends and family for your faithful and beautiful prayer support. We are blessed and encouraged by every ounce of intercession you send to the Lord in heaven on behalf of baby Nora.
Keep them coming.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

Beautiful
Your blog and especially the pictures put a huge smile on my face. I am keeping Nora in my prayers. Thank you for making my day a beautiful day.
So very sweet.
Thank you for including us in your difficult journey. It’s heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.
Your little Nora is in our prayers daily.
Jesse, Tyler and Nora – We are praying for you all. Keep writing, Jesse – you have a beautiful way with words and I know it is helping you deal with all you are facing! Nora is absolutely beautiful and so precious – we are praying that the steroid treatment does the right work, and that the physician’s have the wisdom to prescribe the proper medications. God is with you on your journey, as are all of your dear family and friends, and even those you have never met…so keep your eyes up and your feet forward. Claire has been keeping up updated – so happy to see and subscribe to your blod – we are sending much love.
We are praying for Baby Nora w/ our congregation and friends from the Northwest. Hugs to your entire family.
